The Stettyn Wines Jar From Dirt Gravel Ride is scheduled for Saturday, 28 November 2026 at Stettyn Family Vineyards in the Western Cape, between Worcester and Villiersdorp. For riders plotting a late-season gravel outing, it offers a one-day format with three distances rather than a full stage-race commitment.
Three distances from Stettyn Cellar
The Bike Hub listing gives riders a choice of Guardian’s Path over 40km, Stony Rhythms over 60km, or Shackleton’s Quest over 100km. The 100km is due to start at 07h00, followed by the 60km at 07h15 and the 40km at 07h30. Registration is listed for the same morning, from 06h00 to 07h30 at Stettyn Cellar.
That spread is the useful bit for women building a gravel calendar: 40km for a more manageable dirt day, 60km for a solid middle option, and 100km for riders wanting a longer endurance target before the year folds up its camping chair. The event listing also says e-bikes are welcome.
Fees and entry inclusions
Entry fees are listed by distance and PPA membership status: R300 for PPA members and R400 for non-members on the 40km route, R400 and R530 on the 60km, and R500 and R670 on the 100km.

According to the listing, entries include timing, a finisher’s medal, a goody bag, fully stocked water points, post-race hospitality with food stalls and drinks, a secure bike park and a free massage. The goody bag includes a bottle of wine from Stettyn Family Vineyards, with a non-alcoholic beverage supplied instead for under-18 entrants or those who do not drink.
Water-point support scales with the distance: Guardian’s Path has one water point on route plus one at the finish, Stony Rhythms has two on route plus one at the finish, and Shackleton’s Quest has three on route plus one at the finish.
Timing and event partners
Timing will use a permanent RaceTec / Finish Time MTB Board. Riders who already have one are told to bring it and apply the event sticker issued at registration; those without one will need to buy a permanent board for R150.
The event is presented by Stettyn Family Vineyards, with Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages named as the official hydration partner. Bike Hub lists Golazo South Africa as the event lister and places the ride at Stettyn Family Vineyards, Western Cape.
