At the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike Enduro and E-Enduro World Championships in Finale Ligure, Italy, raced on 17–18 October 2026, Germany turned the women’s Elite programme into a tidy two-jersey haul. Helen Weber won Saturday’s women’s E-enduro title, before Raphaela Richter followed on Sunday with the women’s Elite enduro crown.

Weber in charge

Weber’s E-enduro victory had authority stamped all over it. The 23-year-old won five of the six timed stages and finished in 44:37.705, more than 1:18 ahead of France’s Laura Charles. France’s Estelle Charles, the 2024 UCI World Champion, completed the podium in third, while Great Britain’s Tracy Moseley won the final descent and finished sixth.

Richter survives the seesaw

Sunday’s enduro race was a very different beast: tighter, twitchier, and decided by the kind of margin that makes timing screens feel personally rude. Richter opened by winning the Megaroller stage by three seconds over France’s Isabeau Courdurier, but Courdurier moved into the overall lead after stage two, which was won by Great Britain’s Ella Conolly.

The lead kept swinging. Courdurier stretched her advantage after stage three, Richter reclaimed first overall on stage four by 0.443 seconds, and Italy’s Nadine Ellecosta won the fifth stage to keep the contest alive. Courdurier then won the final DH Men stage, but Richter’s third place on that run was enough to seal the rainbow jersey by 1.575 seconds. Courdurier took silver and Ellecosta bronze.

Two titles, two textures

For the women’s field, Finale Ligure delivered two sharply contrasting title rides: Weber’s controlled E-enduro command, then Richter’s bare-margin enduro win under final-stage pressure. Same nation, same weekend, two very different ways to earn rainbow stripes.
