Announced on 29 October 2026, the 2027 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series calendar confirms ten rounds across eight countries and two continents, running from 21 May to 3 October 2027. The fifth season of the revamped UCI World Cup format will include cross-country short track, cross-country Olympic and downhill racing, with both the cross-country and downhill World Cups opening in Europe before closing with separate finales in North America.
Europe opens the season
The opening round is cross-country only, with XCC and XCO at Nové Město na Moravě in Czechia on 21–23 May. Downhill begins one week later at Loudenvielle-Peyragudes in France on 29–30 May.
After a weekend break, Saalfelden Leogang - Salzburgerland in Austria hosts the first of six combined cross-country and downhill World Cup weekends on 11–13 June. Les Gets, Haute-Savoie Mont Blanc follows on 18–20 June, also with cross-country and downhill on the bill.
Six combined weekends
The calendar then moves to La Thuile, Valle d’Aosta in Italy on 2–4 July, before heading to Pal Arinsal in Andorra on 9–11 July for the final round before a six-week summer break. Both stops are listed as combined cross-country and downhill World Cup rounds.

Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide in Switzerland restarts the series on 20–22 August with both cross-country and downhill racing. Val di Sole, Trentino in Italy hosts the final European round on 10–12 September, again combining the two World Cup formats.
North America gets the finales
The last two rounds split the formats. The UCI Cross-country World Cup concludes at Soldier Hollow, Midway, Utah, USA on 25–26 September, while the UCI Downhill World Cup finishes at Whistler Mountain Bike Park, British Columbia, Canada on 2–3 October.
That means the 2027 calendar features ten total rounds, with eight events per format. Six weekends are combined cross-country and downhill stops, while Nové Město na Moravě and Soldier Hollow are cross-country-only rounds, and Loudenvielle-Peyragudes and Whistler are downhill-only rounds. Neat little diary grenade, this one.
