MOMENTUM It’s your friend! But always be in control and always be responsible with your speed.

ATTACK POSITION
It’s super important! Ladies - NEVER ride over and obstacle or down a hill sitting on your saddle for one more day in your life! It’s not safe and it certainly is not fun inducing!

LOOK FAR AHEAD Lift your chin! Watch 4 meters to 10 meters ahead as as your speed increases. This will give your brain time to react to what's coming at you, so you can choose the right line in time!
THE ATTACK POSITION DECONSTRUCTED
AND EXPLAINED.
So many riders don’t know this version of the attack position. In the past 4 years I have personally trained over 4000 riders on my own and very few riders know this position. Take a picture of these pics and go and practice it on a field, it will feel strange, especially as it stretches into your calves, but trust me you will be thanking me, as you feel the confidence it bring you on there trail!

Raise yourself off the saddle and place your feet in the 50 /50 options ( 3 o clock and 9 o clock) to balance your bike, and to prevent pedal strikes on rocks and roots.

Drop your heels - This shifts your weight to the back of your bike. Legs straight but your knees are soft for shock absorption.

Elbows out

Boobs to bar
Elbows out - This lowers your weight to the front of your bike . I created the saying ; ‘ Boobs2bar!’ to try get ladies to get their elbows out and chest towards the handle bar. The sticker is very popular! Once your heels are dropped and your chest is towards the handle bar you will feel very stable. Your chin will be directly over your headset.
